The middleware / applications will cover one of the following areas:

Resource management in Clouds
- autonomic manager
- self-* properties
Energy eficiency in Cloud-like environments including restrictions like
- carbon footprint
- SLA attainment
- energy signatures
Resource monitoring in Cloud-like environements
- infrastructure resource monitoring
- SLA monitoring
Simulations of market liquidity in Cloud markets
- market mechanisms (like auctions, negotiation. etc.)
- liquidity in dependance of available SLA templates
