After graduating the Higher Institute of Technical Education for Software Engineering (in German: Hoehere Technische Lehranstalt (HTL)) in Villach in 2000, he started to study Computer Science at the University of Technology in Vienna where he received his Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) in June 2007.
Currently he is working as a project assistant and PhD student at the Distributed Systems Group (DSG) at the University of Technology in Vienna under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Schahram Dustdar and PD Dr. Uwe Zdun.
His research interests cover:
- Domain-specific Languages (DSL)
- Model-driven Development (MDD)
- Service-oriented Architectures (SOA)
- Quality-of-Service (QoS) and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Business Process Management (BPM)
- Green IT
