Research agenda
During my PhD studies, I focused on dynamic service selection and handling complex monitoring requirements in composite service. These areas imply interest in research streams such as Domain Specific Languages (DSL), Complex Event Processing (CEP) and Dynamic Languages on the JVM.
Other research interests include alternative languages on the JVM platform, data parallelism and virtualization, as well as M2M applications.
In my rare spare time, I'm trying to learn new scripting languages. I am long term user of Perl, but my current favourite is Ruby.
Short CV
I finished my PhD studies (thesis) at the Vienna University of Technology in 2012. Since December 2000, I work for A1 Telekom Austria (previously Mobilkom Austria AG), in diverse positions and jobs. My expertise comprises many fields, ranging from unix programming to large scale software architecture. Currently I work as a software architect with a focus on high-volume provisioning systems.
